Gifted students have a passion for learning and are driven by an intense need to explore new content and unanswered questions. In this presentation, Ms. Anderson will highlight strategies to help feed the mind and heart of gifted students in a way that brings balance to their lives and builds resilience.

About the Speaker

Karen Anderson is the Arts & Enrichment Coordinator for the Pasadena Unified School District. She graduated from Northwestern University and received her Master’s degree in education from USC. Karen has worked in public, private, and charter schools in dual language environments as a teacher, administrator, and coach. She has collaborated extensively in gifted and talented education for over ten years with the California Association for the Gifted and is an Adjunct Professor in the MAT program at USC.
